Cursed words

My friend says that in order to speak a language, one must first learn the cursed words. I think it's kind of stupid. Why I need to learn how swearing?

And I think that the advice is cool, and your friend says really useful things. We all use cursed words in our speech all the time, and this is a great way to spice up a speech instead of sounding like textbook text. And I hear german curse words very often, so it's really an integral part of spoken language.
