Flooring

I want to do a complete renovation in a new apartment. We need to start with the floors. What flooring do you recommend and why?

If you are renovating from scratch, I recommend that you immediately think about a heated floor system. It heats the apartment very well in winter and you can walk barefoot on this floor.
