Yup this is me. I used to love the story. Bought a load of the books, and really delved deep into the lore. This has fallen off massively though since Shadowlands. Even if the shadowlands storyline was done well without the weird Sylvanas obsession and other issues I don't think I'd get that into it as it's too high fantasy. I love the low fantasy, bows and arrows, dwarven mountains and elven forests and that whole Tolkienesque vibe. The theme of shadowlands just isn't really for me with robots and delving into the nature of reality etc. I even bought https://wowhunt.com/service/mythic-20-us/ for the game to enjoy.
