Alex Caizergues - The Fastest Man on the Water

Alex Caitergues has a pretty impressive list of achievements in speed kiting. He is multiple French and World Champion and speed world record holder. He set a new kite speed world record in Salin-de-Giraud, France, during the Salt & Speed 3 in 2013, an incredible 104,8km/h world record! This guy is really fast!

Today, Alex Caizergues is the most titled French kiteboarder and with nine years of competitions, he proved his value both in the kite and the speed sailing world.With already three World Champion and two French Champion titles, two kite world records and two outright world records, he is today one of the most titled kiteboarder in the world. He entered “the legend” when he first broke the 100 km/h barrier on the 14th of October 2010, in Lüderitz, Namibia.

In November 2012, a dream comes true when he managed to set up a speed stadium named "Volkswagen Transporter Arena" in order to organize an official world record attempt happening in France, the Salt & Speed. One year after, on 11th of November 2013, Alex sets a new kite speed record with a run at  56.62 kts (104,8 km/h) and becomes the fastest man on the water, a record that has not been broken yet.
