The Northeast Pennsylvania skydiving center is run by Don Kellner, a pioneer of the sport and the man who holds the Guinness World Record for the most sport parachute jumps. He currently has over 41,000 jumps!!! In comparison with the main skydiving instructors of Above the Poconos Skydivers who have a combined total of over 60,000 skydives, this is an amazing number.

In an era of bigger is better approach, Don and his partner, chief pilot Dave Price, have made a conscientious business decision to keep the dropzone small, safe, and personable. All Above the Poconos skydiving instructors work for a living at normal jobs, so just like every other skydiver, they are looking forward to skydiving rather than it being work. What can be better than your instructors enjoying and sharing the thrill of the sport with you.
