NorCal Skydiving - An Unforgettable Way to Experience Northern California

Sonoma County, just a short drive north from San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge in California, is one of the West Coast's favorite destinations for travelers. Set in scenic natural landscape, this world-class wine area has it all; hundreds of miles of California's natural beauty, vineyards and the fascinating city of San Francisco. One of the activities you can do in this beautiful region is skydiving. After all, what is better way to see all of it than from thousands of feet up in the blue sky?

A Sonoma skydiving adventure with NorCal Skydiving will give you a chance to see Northern California from different perspective. Mountains, lakes, forests or the Pacific Ocean - not even a mountain top or an airplane window will give you such clear views of scenic, wide-open and naturally stunning sights of the Russian River, the glaciers of Mount Shasta, Clear Lake, Mount Konocti and the city skyline of the wondrous city of San Francisco.

NorCal Skydiving's DZ is located at the airport in Cloverdale and you will take-off and land right there; when you jump from their PAC750 aircraft more than two miles up, you'll be falling at 120 mph toward the Russian River which snakes through the Alexander Valley right next to the landing field. Jimmy Halliday, the president of NorCal Skydiving and his staff all are licensed expert instructors, certified by the United States Parachute Association who will take care after you right off the start.

NorCals Sonoma skydiving operation provides experts to accompany beginners on tandem jumps, welcomes all USPA licensed skydivers with a B license or higher and offer to pursue your own United States Parachute Association A license through Accelerated Free Fall program (AAF course) so you can jump solo.

The DZ's open Monday to Sunday from 9AM to sunset (reservations are required on weekdays) and if you have your own license and your own gear the jump ticket is 25 bucks, the DZ also offers courses and coaching for those interested in becoming a licensed sport skydiver.
