Tsunami Skydivers - Skydive in the Heart of Oceanside

Being a skydive center located in the heart of Oceanside, California has its advantages. A home of the famous Oceanside Pier, one of the longest wooden piers on the coastline, together with great climate and incredible views makes it for an amazing skydive experience. With Tsunami Skydivers, a DZ located right at Oceanside Municipal Airport, you will be literally skydiving in the center of town, about a mile and a half from the Oceanside Harbor and Pier, greeted by amazing views of the ocean and the surrounding hills.

Tsunami Skydivers is a United States Parachute Association Group Member DZ owned and operated by Rich Grimm, a long time and passionate skydiver. He and the co. offers thrilling jumps from 13,000ft out of their colorful, fast climbing PAC 750XL jump plane that holds up to 14 skydivers. It flies fast and has great windows to enjoy the scenic view on the way up. Especially the views of North San Diego County are breathtaking on the ride to altitude;  you can see as far as downtown San Diego to the South and Dana Point and Catalina Island to the North!

Tandem Skydiving & Experienced Skydivers

Tandem Skydiving is the safest and most rewarding way to start your skydiving adventure. Typically you will make 2 or 3 Tandem training skydives with Tsunami Skydivers. Once you have experienced the thrill and adrenaline filled excitement of Skydiving, Rich and the crew can refer you to their affiliated skydiving center for continued Accelerated Free Fall training (AFF) where you will exit the aircraft and freefall at 120 mph for about one minute. If you are an experienced skydiver, Tsunami Skydivers welcomes all jumpers with a USPA “B” license or higher and those with a foreign equivalent.
