West Midlands Skydiving in Tilstock - Skydive Tilstock, UK

Skydive Tilstock is a traditional skydiving club located at Tilstock Airfield, Shropshire, United Kingdom. The British Parachute Association approved skydiving centre is situated less than 50 miles south of Liverpool and just about 3 miles south of Whitchurch. Jumping at Tilstock Airfield has began in the 60´s. Skydivers have been using its facilities since 1964. In addition to classical Tandems and Static Line courses the club also organizes charity events and fun jumping.

Thanks to its ideal Midlands location it is the closest parachuting facility for over 90 miles. Tandem skydiving and parachute training courses are main focus. Skydive Tilstock fligh operations are on Fridays 9:00 - 21:00 (March to November) and Saturdays 9:00 - 21:00. Flights start every 30 minutes. They have a G8 Airvan and a fast climbing Turbo C206. The Parachute Centre is run by professional skydivers with many years of experience. 

Tilstock Airfield

The private airfield is situated 3 miles (4,8 km) south of Whitchurch, Shropshire, England. Initially it served as a British army training base from 1915. Construction of an airfield (RAF Tilstock) was completed in summer 1942. Today the main use of the airfield is for parachute training and skydiving by Skydive Tilstock (The Parachute Centre) and is home base for other general aviation aircraft.

How to get to Tilstock Airfield

The Parachute Centre location is at Tilstock Airfield not Tilstock village The entrance is from the A41, 3 miles south of Whitchurch, Shropshire and close to the border of Wales. The Dropzone is less than an hour from Birmingham, Stoke on Trent, Wrexham, Chester, Manchester, Wirral, Merseyside, Liverpool, The Black Country, West Midlands and most of North and Mid Wales. In fact they are the only parachuting facility within nearly one hundred miles!
