Parapro is an all year round Paragliding and Paramotoring school and center located in Christchurch, New Zealand. The school is also a certified Commercial Tandem Operator with the New Zealand´s Civil Aviation Authority. Parapro is catering for both the very adventurous who want an adrenaline rush and not so adventurous who simply just want to experience the unbelievable feeling of free flight. Parapro is New Zealand’s premier paramotoring training facility offering paramotor tuition, flying tours and equipment sales. It is also Christchurch’s only full-time Paragliding school.

At Parapro they also provide an exciting range of Tandem Flight options, various Paragliding, Paramotoring and Speed Flying Courses, equipment sales and flying tours to suit the needs of almost every client.

Paramotoring Training

To learn Paramotoring with Parapro you have 2 options: 1) Full Paramotoring Course within 10 –12 days. 2) Conversion Course of 3 days duration (PG2 license required).

Paragliding School

They offer a wide range of courses, from a 1 day Intro , 3 day Novice course (PG1), to a full Paragliding Licence course (PG2). Parapro provides all the latest equipment during training as part of the course cost.

David Dennis

Parapro aim is to provide the highest of standards in teaching various forms of flying. There’s no substitute for experience when it comes to learning to fly or experiencing tandem paragliding. Dave Dennis, Parapro’s owner and chief flying instructor with over 25 years of total flying experience, has been instructing and flying tandems since late 1991 throughout Australasia. He is NZ’s first licensed Paramotor Instructor and is a skilled and active speed flyer and skier.

Parapro operates 7 days a week, 363 days a year, weather permitting.
