Tomy has always felt an an attraction to be outside and combine Nature, Spirit and Outdoor Sports. Since he was a child, he was taught rockclimbing, has done several Trekkings to Tepuys and other Mountains, and lots of Scuba diving, till he started Paragliding at 17 years, which rapidly became his main passion as well as leading tours to the Lost World of Venezuela.

He has also lived a few years in Germany and Italy, working for Firebird, a paragliding manufacturer as a test and competition pilot, participating in the 2003 Aerobatics World Tour, finishing 7th place in Red Bull Vertigo and 9th place overall for that year.

Adrex.com is going to introduce his Autana team and most of its outdoor activities. Today we start with Paragliding.

As they put it on Autana.org website:

„Paragliding is a very simple way to fly. There is no need to use a motor. You simply use the resources offered by nature to soar like an eagle. Under good conditions, you can achieve flights that can last for hours, reaching impressive heights, cover great distances, or also explore the clouds from within...“

At www.autana.org they offer flying over the most attractive parts of  Peru and Venezuela. Also the tandem flights, where the passenger is seated in the front, and the pilot belonging to their team is in charge of launching, flying and landing the glider. This means for you, that you don´t need to have previous knowledge, or make a course to fly. Their staff of certified Tandem Pilots by the Venezuelan Paraglider and Hanglider Federation has many years of experience in this area. You simply need some short instructions before take off, and you are airborne!
