This Saturday and Sunday 30th and 31st of May the second 2015 World Cup competition will take place in Toronto, Canada. The series is crossing out the second largest country in the world, from the west coast to the east and we couldn’t be more excited as the world’s best boulderers will give again their best, trying to overcome any obstacles they may have in the competition. The problems are harder every year and it’s becoming more demanding to make it to the podium.

22 nationalities will be competing in Toronto. Jan Hojer and Juliane Wurm, both European Champions in Innsbruck last week, and Akiyo Noguchi last year champion in bouldering, will have to push harder to keep that first place. New Venue: The Thornhill Arena

For the first time the IFSC World Cup Toronto will take place in a new venue, the Thornhill Arena, located on Bayview Ave. This multisport center offers a bigger venue than the one last year, perfect to the amount of spectators participating in the IFSC World Cup Toronto every year. The competition will be held in one of the two hockey arenas.

We cannot wait to see what the athletes had prepared for us. Who will be able to hold onto the podium this time? Tune in on Sunday, May 31st, to find out! We hope you enjoy every minute of this amazing competition. Stay tuned and enjoy the live streaming of the semi-finals and finals competition on ifsc-climbing.org.
