O’Neill Czech Freeski Tour 2018 - Deštné v Orlických horách

This year’s first event of Czech slopestyle freeski cup O’Neill Czech Freeski Tour 2018 will be held in popular resort Deštné v Orlických horách, Czech Republic. The prize will be prize money again, and high-value items gifted by our partners – O’Neill, Snowpanic.cz, Armada, Dakine, Adrex.com, Sportisimo and Molo. The event in Deštná are only included in the Czech Cup, not in FIS, which actually means that anyone can take part, including athletes with no FIS code.

The following freeski slopestyle categories will be available:

• Children, 6-15 years old
• Juniors, 16-19 years old
• Men, 20+ years old
• Women

Competition system:
Any freeski rider, regardless experience or quality, can take part in the competition, in the following categories – women, men, and children under 16. This system is supposed to attract as many as possible. In every race of the series, top riders get a prize and points added to the total score, which will be counted after the final section. The winners will get attractive prize money and prize gifts from the partners. Every race will take two days – Friday’s voluntary training will be followed by the main day, Saturday. The setup of the snowpark in Deštné v Orlických horách includes at least 2 or 3 terrain features (boxes, rails) and 2 jumps (each kisker includes 2 big/small take-offs) in line.

Saturday, February 10, 2018 – Race:

• 08:00 - 10:00 registration at bar Dvojka
• 09:00 - 09:50 training
• 09:50 - 10:00 riders meeting
• 10:00 - 12:45 qualification round
• 13:30 - 14:30 finals
• 15:00 announcement of the winners

This schedule is for reference only. Changes and updates to the schedule depend on the number of registered riders and its final version will be announced at the riders meeting.

Riders over 17 should submit their application forms to czechfreeski@seznam.cz, riders under 18 will need a printed application form including the signature of their legal representative to the starting line of the race – without this document, underage riders will not be allowed to take part in the event.
