QParks Tour Countdown for 2015/16 Has Started: It's Show-Off Time!

We at Adrex.com love QPark's Tour. Why? Because they care and give back. As in its previous seasons, the QParks Tour makes talented snowboarders and freeskiers push their limits in an easy-going atmosphere, while also acting as a launch pad for possible professional careers. Apart from getting sponsorship, another treat in form of 60.000 Euros in prize money and high-quality protection wear by TSG and Amplifi awaits those, who'd like to take part in the biggest and most important rookie freestyle tour in the Alps.

For the sixth year in a row, the aim is to focus on new, rising talents in a homely atmosphere. The QParks Tour is scanning the entire European Alpine region to find the 'shooting stars' of tomorrow.

However, before nailing down the sponsor´s contracts, riders are supposed to collect important QParks Tour points to qualify for the grand finals at the Dachstein glacier. The freestyle contests, taking place in Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland are all free of charge for all snowboarders and freeskiers. So, apart from the three categories – men, girls and rookies, there are no limits. The QParks' goal is to make the transalpine runs as exciting and explosive as possible. Once again, riders will have to compete under different circumstances at each event; they will face various setups, weather conditions and – last but not least – different dialects!

Besides the sought-after QParks Tour credits, riders are rewarded with extra points for their spherical tricks that are highly important for the World Snowboard Tour and the World Rookie Rank. In addition, all freeskiers can boost their ranking for the Austria Cup. While riders shoot themselves up the stratosphere, the photo-and film-crew will care for the best angles to freeze the action. The focus of each QParks Tour event, however, is having fun and enjoying a perfect day among pals.
