The Deepest Pool Ever - Dive Soon in Italy

A brand new concept of a special diving pool in Italian city of Padua rivals Belgian record leader. A bold project construction was recently started right on the border of Padua suburbs and regional park Colli Euganei in Italy. With its planned 40 meters deep pit, it is about to become the deepest pool in the world.

Not just the deepest pool in the world, but thanks to its thermal water with a temperature above 30 °C, an ideal spot for training instrumentation or breath-hold diving. Pool´s architect Emanuele Boaretto has placed the diving tube in the building environment, right inside the four-star Hotel Terme Millepini, from which we can infer that the facilities for athletes will be at a very high level.

So far Nemo 33, a recreational diving center in Brussels, Belgium, keeps its leading position with 33 meters (108ft). It was opened in 2004 and it is filled with 2,5 mil. liters of water. The question is, of course, how much money you will need to pay for your diving-visit of the deepest bath.

The Terme Millepini pool, measuring 21*18 meters, should be open to the public during the next year. Let the Italians show off. For more information about the project, visit also Adrex.com update here
