Alqueva Wakeboarding - Fierce Rides on a Tranquil Lake in Portugal

Alqueva Dam lake has been created during the last decade and it has become the largest freshwater lake in Portugal and also one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe. It was completely filled in 2010 and has began to attract increasing attention from water sports lovers since. Stable, very pleasant year-round climate and perfectly calm water make the place suitable for Skiing or Wakeboarding.
