MAREK HOLECEK AND ZDENEK HRUBY – TALUNG (7349 m.) FIRST ASCENT

Czech Himalayan climbing celebrates another huge success. Marek Holecek and Zdenek Hruby on Tuesday, May 28th, completed the first ascent of the north pillar of the 7,349 m high Talung. As Marek wrote from Kathmandu: "The first part of the expedition “Never Stop Exploring – Nepal“, can be considered an exclusive success."
MAREK HOLECEK AND ZDENEK HRUBY – TALUNG (7349 m.) FIRST ASCENT

The first alpine style ascent without oxygen and without the aid of lifting carriers, this will definitely rank among the top performances worldwide. Both climbers should return on Friday, so we are waiting for more detailed information and photo and video documentation. Here is the official message that arrived from Nepal: Hello, many greetings to you from Nepal, from a place that can be without exaggeration described as a “burning bear anus.” We are already waiting for the plane, which moves us through Kathmandu closer to home. In the shade there is  some 40 degrees and air lazily shimmers. Perhaps only chilled Carlsberg falling into our parched mouth, can be described as the only attribute of the trappings of civilization, otherwise total Ages.

But to the point, our first expedition “Never Stop Exploring – Nepal”, can already be described as exclusively successful. The Czech climbing angle is the best output from falling bolsan in the Himalayas and to please, be sure we have not lost sanity. From the point of view of the world this will be one of the most important performances in the high mountains of  2013.

All in snags: Alpine style ascent to the top of the northwest pillar Talung 7,349 meters, seven days climbing the wall and six suffered in bivouacs, two people without additional foreign aid. Length outlet 2500, difficulty M6 +, WI6. Kangchenjunga region, Eastern Himalayas - Nepal. We look forward to your participation and thank you in advance for your time.
