How often do you travel alone?

I try not to travel alone. I prefer to travel with friends or family. That is the best vacation in my mind. I once traveled alone, but I didn't like it.

As a full time digital nomad I mostly travel solo while making new friends along the way or meeting up with old friends when staying longer in one location.

Routinely. All the time. I’m flying to England soon, alone, for a wedding my husband can’t make it to. (He has a full time day job and I don’t.)

All the time. Why? Because nobody wants to go to my destination of choice, or their passport won't allow them entry to my destinations.

Another reason is I usually don't plan my travels. I always play it by ear. I always travel when I feel ready to travel. I book my international flights 2-3 days prior. Many people aren't used to this kind of spontaneity -- they want to plan their trips months prior. I don't think I've ever planned my trip like that. I don't think I will ever plan my trips like that.

Travel requires money and free time. You have to have both to do so. Some friends have the money but no time, and some have time but no money.
