All you need to do is to uplad some app to avoid toll roads. Check my favorite tolls in usa resource and upload their app. I like it a lot because it can calculate toll costs and save me time. My fave feature is that I don’t need a transponder. So, simply give it a try and forget about wasting your time and money in vain. Good luck

I vote for Phoenix! Oh, thats right… We don’t have any toll roads. Any at all. NADA, not a one. And we have lots of roads, including nice new ones.
Having driven to the east coast (NJ) and back this summer I was amazed on just how much those tolls amounted to. I believe it was over $60 for the Pennsylvania Turnpike. For just a car!
Then there were those 2-mile long backups at the toll stations in NJ. Just to pay the tolls! Every 15 miles or so. Seems to me that a substantial part of their traffic problems are caused by the solutions they implemented
