Team Brazil Wins the 2015 ISA World Bodyboard Championship

After five days of intense competition at la Punta Uno, Team Brazil claimed the Team Gold Medal at the 2015 Iquique Para Todos ISA World Bodyboard Championship. Trailing Team Chile heading into the Final Day, Brazil was able to seize first place behind a strong team performance headed by Eder Luciano’s Gold Medal. Not only did the event proved to give some competitors an edge in the Finals, as four of the five champions were past ISA Gold Medalists but made friendships, progressed the sport of Bodyboard and united the international Bodyboard community.

The ISA World Bodyboard Championship 2015 in Two Weeks

National Teams of bodyboarders from every continent are set to converge in the ocean of Chile’s wave-rich north coast. For the second consecutive year, Iquique will again play a host to The 2015 ISA World Bodyboard Championship that takes place in just two weeks. From December 6 to 13, athletes from more than a dozen countries will compete for the Gold Medals and showcase their world-class skill sets at the hollow reef break of la Punta Uno, a rock bottom, right point break, located in the north end of Cavancha Beach.

Waterski World Championships: Young Generation Took Cancun by Storm

To have five male and six female World Record holders in Waterski Slalom, Tricks and Jump chasing the coveted title of World Champion was a guarantee of a spectacular contest. Taking place at the perfect Boca Laguna Ski Club site in Chapala, Mexico, the highly successful Wakeboard World Championships took place there recently and with glorious sunshine and perfect water conditions prevailing all week long, it was without question this event will be one to remember. In Slalom, crowds were facing what could be the greatest World Championships line-up of the decade and three well established records were created.

Shanghai, the world’s largest city with a population of 24 million, hosted the 45th World Cup Stop of the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF). With 480 million Chinese residents leaving home for the seven day Golden Week holiday, several million thronged Shanghai’s famous Nanjing Road and The Bund Waterfront. Over 7.5 million travelled on Shanghai trains alone.
