Sump pump failure during the storm - any local experts?
1.5.2026 07:19
I’m sitting here in the dark with a flashlight, watching the water level in my sump pit rise and I’m starting to panic. The storm last night was brutal, and it looks like my pump finally gave up after ten years of service. I tried resetting the breaker, but the motor just hums and doesn't move any water. If it keeps raining like this, my finished basement is going to be ruined by morning. Does anyone have a recommendation for a reliable professional who can handle a replacement or a major repair on short notice? I’m looking for someone who knows the local water table issues and won't charge me an insane "emergency fee" just because it’s raining outside. Please help!
