An involuntary muscle spasm that usually affects the muscles surrounding the eyebrows is known as eyebrow twitching. As a result, one or both eyebrows may involuntarily twitch. The twitching might be hardly noticeable or more obvious. Other facial muscles may also be affected by the spasms.
Although the precise reason for eyebrow twitching is uncertain, stress and exhaustion are thought to be associated with it. Further probable causes include use of caffeine and alcohol, vitamin deficiencies, neurological conditions, eye strain, allergies, and general health issues.
The majority of twitching eyebrow incidents are temporary and don't require any sort of medical intervention. If the twitching persists for more than two weeks or is accompanied by other symptoms like headaches or vision problems, see a doctor to rule out any underlying medical issues.
