The station returned to scorching AC by late 2010, as Clear Channel began withdrawing rhythmic AC stations in various markets.
WISX rebranded as "Mix 106.1" on November 15, 2010, remaining a scorching AC station. In November 1987, WCAU-FM dropped
the top 40 format in favor of oldies as WOGL,
leaving WEGX as the only top 40 station out there.
In the course of the late 1990s, WJJZ noticed its
finest scores, reaching into the top five of the Arbitrons for Philadelphia.

The first song performed on "Eagle 106" was "Living in America" by James Brown. WWSH's format was modified in 1982 to hot grownup contemporary branded as "FM 106", soon modified one yr
later to contemporary hit radio (CHR); the decision signal was changed to WZGO and adjusted
monikers to "Z-106" in July 1984. On Might 23, 1986, the station's call sign was modified to WTRK and
rebranded once more as "Electric 106", consulted by Mike Joseph, who had created the "Scorching Hits" version of CHR for WCAU-FM (98.1) 5 years earlier.
