Bungy Jumping

Where the Deepest Last Resort is Just the Start - Bungy Nepal

After a beautiful 3-hour ride from Kathmandu, Nepal, you can find one of the most exciting bungee jumping spots in the world. The Last Resort is located on top of a gorge close to the Tibetan border. Its founders built a 160-meter high suspension bridge as the spectacular entrance to the resort to link up a remote area with the Kathmandu-Lhasa road. The stunning natural surroundings so close to Tibet make the jump here an almost magical experience.

The Last Resort in Nepal was founded in 1999, after scouting the Nepal-Tibet border area intensively for the perfect place to build an adventure resort. The present location, on top of the steep Bhote Kosi River gorge, was finally chosen because of the almost unlimited possibilities for many kinds of adventure sports and its tremendous natural beauty.

You can book your bungy as a day trip from Kathmandu or combine it with a stay at the Resort as it provides surprisingly pleasant facilities. Luxurious safari tents are set in lush gardens for a peaceful stay in an exotic setting. For adventurous souls the spectacular environment of The Last Resort offers a wide range of amazing adventures and other activities.

On the day of your jump the jump master will first give a briefing. He then writes your weight on your hand and tells you in which group you will be jumping. Then, from a 160 meters high platform, you can enjoy more than 100 meters ( 6sec.) freefall while bungy or just swing into the canyon above Bhote Kosi River.
