Whether rookie or ripper, the contest offers perfect opportunities not only to ride against your peers and to learn new tricks, but also to raise attention of the media and industry. Furthermore, prize money worth 3.000.-EUR and an extra of 100.- Euro cash for the best trick of the day, as well as goodies from QParks, TSG, Neff and Amplfi are up for grabs. In addition to the desired QParks Tour points, the best snowboarders of each contest will score points for the World Snowboard Tour and the World Rookie Rank.
Alta Badia Snowpark
The rider registration is already open on the QParks Freeski and Snowboard Tour websites. It is free of registration fees and everybody may sign up in the categories Men, Ladies and Rookies (born in the year 2000 and younger). But places are limited, so do not hesitate and seal yourself a spot in the battle for the freestyle crowns! Caution: In Snowpark Alta Badia, wearing helmets is mandatory for all riders. Without a helmet you will not be allowed to start in the contest.
As in previous years, alongside the shred-showdown, the Hottest Shot competition returns once again. Everyone, rider, shaper or spectator, may post his or her best shot of the day on the QParks Tour Facebook page or on Instagram, tagged with #HottestShot and #LaFreestyla to join the voting. The shot of the day that gets the most votes, qualifies for the final voting at the end of the season, at which the overall Hottest Shot is getting crowned. The winner of this competition jets off to the Portugal Surfcamp for TWO WEEKS at the end of the season, including accommodation, surf coaching, board rental and 250€ flight-money for 2 persons!
The renowned ‘Riders Voting´ is coming back with a fresh look in 2014/15. NEW: All winners of the categories snowboard & freeski men, ladies and rookies will qualify automatically for the grand voting finals at the end of the season. After the last tour stop, all champions and thus the voting finalists will have been determined. The final voting will decide who can go and buy new board shorts, as another trip to the Portugal SurfCamp for 2 persons is at stake. Check out all details here!
