Diving and the treasures to be found below the surface of the clear blue Caribbean Sea have been Roatan’s main attraction for a long time. Barefoot Divers offer a full range of PADI instruction, from Discover Scuba through to Instructor courses, and also offer fun dives with their valet diving service - as they put it, "we do the work, you have the fun". Their staff sets up your gear, greets you after your dive with towels, fresh fruit and water, breaks down your gear, rinses it and puts it away for you, so you have more time to enjoy your vacation. The dive services are available to resort guests as well as non-resort guests, including cruise ship visitors who are on Roatan for a day - they're just a few minutes away from the Mahogany Bay cruise ship terminal.

Whether you want to dive Mary's Place or dive slightly out of the way from most dive operations, Roatan is a place to check. Barefoot Divers keep the groups small, and boats depart three times daily. The dive center is open all year round and if you are certified diver one dive ranges between 30-40 bucks, the center also offers snorkel trips, night diving, equipment as well as dive computer rentals or lodging at the resort.
