Ecuadorian Alpine Institute (EAI) is a member of Aseguim, a Mountain Association of Ecuador. With over 16 years of climbing experience as a tour operator specialist in Ecuador, the EAI only employs certified bilingual and experienced mountain guides to guarantee you a safe climb. The owner and founder of the company, Ramiro Donozo, himself has over 27 years of climbing experience and he has successfully climbed all the mountains in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. The expedition's 5 objectives, in order of ascents, are: Guagua Pichincha 4,794m (15,724ft) or Rucu Pichincha 4,627m (15,176ft), and the three following mountains to begin the "real" adventure are: Cayambe 5,790m (18,991ft), the third highest mountain, Cotopaxi volcano 5,897m (19,342ft), the world's highest active volcano, and Chimborazo, at 6,310m (20,696ft).
