Kruder Siblings conquer iconic Verzasca Dam
second edition, attracted 24 of the world's best…
Apart from olives the San Vito area is full of, this small town in the Mediterranean See, particularly its eastern borders are surrounded by a small range of mountains including numerous caves that are drawn by adventures from all over the World. The beautiful crags of this area also attracts a lot of climbers every year. No wonder, the place is full of them (about 22 crags locations). Many sectors for any kind of climbing style, with various difficulty grades can be found here; from vertical, steep walls to ramparts and overhangs, this place has it all! Can't wait, can you?
The rock climbing is the heart of the sporting event. Hundreds of climbers will come to reach the goal of the 1000 bolted routes on the beautiful crags of San Vito Lo Capo, one of the most beautiful climbing site in the Mediterranean. This is definitely one of the main reason many climbers return to this event every year. But alongside the desire to climb , everyone is looking forward to be a part of the large community the event has gained throughout the years to make new contacts or chat with old friends. During the four days of the festival, several events will be dedicated to climbing. Apart from small competitions for kids, climbers can partake in three main climbing happenings:
DWS Contest - Classical Deep-water-soloing climbing on the cliffs by the sea. Adrex.com recommends the catamaran tour!
Climbing Meeting – Non-competitive climbing meeting to discover new crags.
Climbing Marathon – Climbing competition; a score race
