Peuterey Integral Ridge on the Mont Blanc performed by Ueli Steck in 16 hours

By far the most complicated climb to the summit of Mont Blanc leads along the Peuterey Integral Ridge. For climbing the ridge you overcome elevation of over 4500 meters as it is the longest ridge in the Alps. Such an excercise usually takes you from two to three days of climbing. The ridge itself is far from being easy, with a lot of rock climbing and plenty of technical abseiling manoeuvres.

The Peuterey Integral has become a major challenge also for a famous Swiss fast-climber Ueli Steck, who decided to attack the recent excellent performance by Slovenian climber Luka Lindic (he managed the climb in 15 hrs). Starting from the campground of Les Bossons, Ueli Steck completed his attempt successfully after 16 hours and 9 minutes. You can see his route in the attached picture, while also imagine how difficult it is. Congratulations from Adrex.com!
