Project Mina Reveals What it Takes to Become a Professional Climber

Mina Leslie-Wujastyk is a super strong climber, no doubts about it. But what made her to become a climber she is today? In Jen Randall's latest film "Project Mina", the internationally renowned boulderer is exposed as an individual on her way turning a passion for climbing into a full-time climber career. And Mina lets us in on everything that we need to know about what it takes to become a professional climber. Although the full film premiered Autumn 2014, this is still an interesting topic that charts the highs and lows of competitive climbing. If you haven't seen it yet, you can watch the movie on reelhouse website.

"Sometime towards the end of 2012, rock climber Mina Leslie-Wujastyk agreed to make a documentary with me. During January 2013, I set out on this project to try and understand what it takes to become a professional athlete, to turn your passion into your career. I realise now this was silly. There is no answer, no formula for making 'it' happen. Just like you or me, every athlete is on their own specific and unique path, and this is Mina's."
