The megatrend health style is the growth segment in the sports industry, to which ISPO MUNICH 2014 is dedicating the completely restructured Hall C1. The Health & Fitness area is focusing on the key topics "Health at the Workplace" and "Sport Shoes and Game Consoles. Top-rate speakers and experts from sports, industry, science and medicine will discuss and present the latest trends from fitness, company health management, nutrition and prevention areas in panel discussions and talks. From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, 26 January, star-winning chef Holger Stromberg will demonstrate how easy it is to have a balanced and healthy diet. In the panel discussion "Business in movement – modern health management at the workplace" with Dr. Ralf Franke (Health Management Director, Siemens AG), Roland Auschel (member of the Executive Board and Global Sales, adidas AG), Klaus Jost (member of the Executive Board at Intersport), Dr. Uwe Nickel (Corporate Development Director, Integion GmbH) and Prof. Gerhard Huber (member of the Executive Board of the German Association for Health Related Fitness and Sporttherapy (DVGS), instructor at Salzburg University) will focus on companies from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, on January 27.

On Monday, one of the most well known American personal and fitness trainers, Mark Lauren, will show his newest training methods at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. As you can see, ISPO MUNICH is providing an attractive supporting program on all four days with numerous possibilities to obtain information about the great variety of offers in the growth segment of health.

ISPO OPEN INNOVATION is a new, year-round service offer of Messe München. With it, companies are getting the possibility to integrate experts and consumers actively into their innovation processes. Companies can integrate their new development partners in two ways. As co-creators, the customer experts are integrated into the innovation process from the start. As product testers, also long before market launching, they can provide comprehensive feedback about product qualities. The brands The North Face, Kjus and Toray as well as Sport Scheck as a renowned sporting goods dealer have already booked corresponding innovation projects at the ISPO OPEN INNOVATION platform and will carry them out in January and February 2014.

The online platform ISPO COMMUNITY also enables direct communication between brands and consumers. Thanks to the presentation of consumer opinions from the Sport Business network, a completely new form of opinion polling and market research is being created for dealers, manufacturers and suppliers. ISPO OPEN INNOVATION and ISPO COMMUNITY are presenting their offers at a separate trade fair booth in the passage between Halls A1 and A2.

The new ISPO ACADEMY Conference Arena in the East Entrance is offering free conferences and talks on all trade fair days about topics such as multi-channel strategies, trademarked products, design trends and social media, among other things. Sunday is the official Trainee & Students Day with a special program for trainees in the sporting goods industry. At 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, renowned industry representatives will discuss the future of the sporting goods retailing in a panel discussion in the Conference Arena.

The new ISPO Freeski Summit in Hall A3 is providing the Freeski Community with its own platform for the first time. Daily changing talks and panel discussions will provide insights into the development of Freeski culture. The information and adventure platform ISPO Snow Ice & Rock Summit in Hall A6 is providing a very varied and high-quality program for the outdoor, ski and backcountry industry sectors at ISPO MUNICH 2014.

Numerous talks and panel discussions for specialist dealers, industry representatives, the media and athletes from all kinds of sports from the Action Sport segment will be the focus of the informative platform ISPO Action Sports Summit in Hall A1. Directly adjacent to the Action Sports Summit is the partner booth Tailgate Munich powered by ISPO, which focuses on the topic of backcountry snowboarding and corresponding products. The special exhibition ISPO Inspire on the topics of Corporate Social Responsibility (Brands for Good) and ecological production (Greenroom Voice) is also directly adjacent to the Action Sports Summit in Hall A1.

Leading brands from the Stand Up Paddle industry are exhibiting in the SUP Area in Hall A3, while the Nordic XC Ski Village in Hall A5 provides insights into the cross-country highlights of the upcoming season. In the Padel Tennis Village (Hall B4), pros are going to demonstrate the fashionable new sport and tennis variant from Latin America with leading brands on a padel court.
