Swedish Madness - Ultrabowl VI

This weekend, August 14-17, bowlriders from all over the world make their annual pilgrimage to Malmö Ultra Bowl. In its sixth installment, the comp is one of the few bowl competitions with open qualifications that attract the very best skaters around the world. Set in the third largest city in Sweden, Malmo's breath- taking Stapelbäddsparken skatepark will once again host the best bowl riders on the planet.

Ultra Bowl VI is part of the ISU World Cup of skateboarding and arranged by Bryggeriet Skateboarding in collaboration with The City of Malmö.

The city is well-known for its D.I.Y. (do it yourself - skaters make their own skateparks) scene, progressive collaboration with the local council and a new generation of up-and-coming skaters. Like every year, Ultra Bowl VI is by skaters, for skaters. This year, Stapelbäddenpark has been freshly polished and new Viking-block coping added to the deep-end, opening possibilities for more speed, flow, air and grind. Everything  you could possibly need.

Also, for the third consecutive year, the all-girls comp "Get Set Go!" will be held in conjunction with Ultra Bowl. Female skaters from all over the globe journey to Malmö to skate at the "Get Set Go" to claim their well-deserved place in the spotlight.
