Headfirst to Seville - Skydiving from 15000 feet with Skydive Spain
Skydive Spain offer first-time jumpers the one-off experience of a tandem skydive or beginner courses; the Accelerated Freefall Course (AFF). Their highly qualified instructors speak English and have instructor ratings with the British Parachute Association and United States Parachute Association.
Skydive Spain have a turbine aircraft permanently based on the airfield. Normally it is the plane registered in Spain EC-KTC, a twin turbine Dornier G92, which takes 15 skydivers to 15,000 feet in 13 minutes. During their busy periods, such as annual Christmas Boogie, or other special events, they have been known to bring in two more Dorniers and other turbine aircraft.
The Skydiving center in Spain has facilities to support the skydiving operation and to give you the best experience, whether on holiday or fun jumping. You can start to learn AFF here, experience a Tandem Skydive, participate in Team Training or take part in one of Skydive Spain's events. The area boasts very good weather conditions all year round. As Seville is one of the hottest parts of Spain, they also have a swimming pool to refresh in after a hard days' jumping.
Recently they have further expanded the facilities, with bunk houses, shower/toilet block, camping area and hook-up points for mobile homes. You can contact them prior to your arrival for arrangements. Also, Café - Cloud 9, offers a selection of hot and cold drinks & snacks. Plus a wide selection of alcoholic drinks for your well earned thirst, DVD's, stereo system, large flat-screen TV and free WIFI Internet connection.
How to reach Skydive Spain
From Seville stay on the ring road and follow the signs for the A-49 to Huelva. When you see the sign for Bollullos de la Mitación & Umbrete, turn off and follow the sign to Bollullos de la Mitacion. At the roundabout turn left and follow the road for 1.2 km. At the T-junction turn right and follow the road for 4.9 km. At the sign directing you to the Aerodromo turn left and follow the track for 1.3 km. Turn left again and follow the track for 1.3 km. Turn left again and follow the track for 0.2 km. Follow the track to the right to La Juliana airfield. If the gate is closed, please ring the bell or call: 0034 687 726 303. Park in the car park and walk to the last hanger for Skydive Spain.
