Skydive Georgia Facilities
A 9,000 square foot indoor climate controlled skydive training facility. A 2,400 square foot outdoor observation deck so that you and your friends can observe the action. Picnic area with both standard picnic tables and oversized picnic tables for larger groups. Outdoor recreation area (pets are welcome). Classroom, with parachute training simulator. The latest in modern state of the art equipment including, all Zero Porosity, state of the art reliable main canopies, digital altimeters, computerized CYPRESS AAD's (Automatic Activation Devices)on all 47 parachute rig systems.
At Skydive Georgia, you will be skydiving with professionals whose experience levels range from at least 5 years to almost 31years. Your skydive is made from 14,000 feet from a turbine aircraft that can hold up to 12 jumpers.
Polk County Airport
Skydive Georgia are located at Polk County Airport - Cornelius Moore Field, situated about 50 miles northwest of Atlanta. They are opened 7 days a week, 365 days per year, from 8:00am until 9:30pm EST.
Getting there from Atlanta
From Atlanta take Interstate 20 West to Thornton Rd (Exit 44), then turn right on Thornton Rd (Hwy 278). Follow for about 20 minutes, cross over Hwy 101 and follow by Cedartown Hwy, cross rail road tracks, go exactly 5.5 miles past rail road tracks and then turn right at the Airport sign (Airport Rd), Skydive Georgia is 1/4 mile on the left.
