One of the biggest BMX events in the World has finished.  Hosting around 180 top athletes from around the World at Saku Arena, including an impressive line-up of the most established riders as well as new talents in the disciplines of BMX, the Simple Session 2014 has its winner. Canadian Drew Bezanson flew through the course like a strom and ended his run with a huge 270 drop-in off the highest ramp.

Drew stormed onto the BMX scene in 2003 at the Toronto BMX Jam. Landing a truck driver (The truck-driver, in the realm of bicycle dirt-jumping, is an aerial maneuver that merges a bar-spin with a 360) into an eight-foot quartepipe brought him first sponzors and recognition.  What is more impresive than the trick itslef is the fact that Bezanson had only been riding BMX for two years at the time. Needless to say that he wasn't a complete newbie on two wheels. He had ridden a motocross bike before. Now a fourth-time Simpel Session champion (in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014) he looks forward to the next events. We will be yet hearing of him in years to come.

From well over 100 riders down to 24, the finals were everything you would expect from a Simple Session; a great mix of both street and park riding, a great vibe, and a damn good show.  Don't forget to check the video highlights from the finals below. Here are the final results:
