The FMB World Tour 2014 enters its fifth season. Since its foundation, this world tour has been expanding rapidly, with new competitions filling up the calendar from all around the World and more riders enrolling for licenses. What is more, FMB helps also promising young talents to progress and break through into the professional scene of Freeride Mountain Biking through the FMB Amateur Cup.

Diamond Series

Diamond Series is the highest-level competition on the list. The best five events from previous years were united into a single series, hosting the best riders MTB scene has to offer, from which the FMB World Champion will arise. The series starts with Crankworx Les 2 Alpes held in France in July, followed by Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler, Canada, Bearclaw Invitational in Canada, Red Bull District Ride in Germany to finish with the gnarliest of all, the Red Bull Rampage held in Virgin, Utah, USA in September. The best pro riders on the planet on the biggest MTB courses to battle for the FMB World Championship title. Don't miss it!

Gold, Silver and Bronze Events

Silver event has already started in the Austrian bike park Leogang last month, however with regular Gold events as well as newly added Silver and Bronze competitions to the list, there is still a lot to look forward to!

Gold and Silver events are essential for pro licensed riders to battle through to the Diamond Series where they can compete for the overall title. And it's not going to be easy, no rider get a ticket to roll at the highest level for free, he has to earn it in Gold and Silver events to deserve  their place amongst the best world's riders.

Bronze and partially Silver events started at the grass-root level and therefore a good way to start a promising career for many amateurs riders through the FMB Amateur Cup. As of 2014, AM licensed riders can also earn points right away at Gold events. This is a proof that the riding level is developing not only amongst the PRO's but between the AM's as well.
