Night Enduro - Ride the Stages during the Day then Race them When it Gets Dark

The great success of the Mini Downhill races is to bring new riders into racing downhill and guys at So why not to recreate this with Mini Enduro and spice up the event with even more fun in form of a night-forest riding? What about that? Sounds good, doesn't it? That's exactly what Chris Roberts and the Nakedracing team did - put the fun into racing. After five years of having successfully organised the 661 Mini Downhill races, the aim is now to emulate these super fun races into Mini Enduro. So if you have never raced an Enduro before or just want a bit of fun racing Enduro away from the pressure of Uk Gravity Enduro series, perfect come and try a Mini Enduro.

The UK's Gravity Enduro National Series has little or no other races to give riders a stepping stone into the big "world" racing. That's why Chris Roberts and the Nakedracing team decided to step their game further and organise the Mini Enduro - the new fun exciting way to race Enduro on a mountain bike. Although aimed at new riders, the Mini also have the Pro am category for the more established racers. Not to speak about racing in the dark, a really exciting experience especially for proficient mountain bikers who are use to riding off road at night.

This first Night Enduro race will take place at Forest of Dean on Saturday 7th February 2015. There are 3 stages with professional timing on every stage with transfers in between, and these transfers are not timed and do not count for the overall standing.

Location

Forest of Dean, UK  - Post Code GL16 7EH

Date

Saturday 7th February 2015

The map for the stages will be released before the race so you can pre ride all the stages in the day light. The event organisers understand that not everyone is as fit as a butchers dog so the stages will be open to ride on Friday night and also Saturday day time to allow the not so fit to have nice easy ride round all the stages.

"Mudhugger are really pleased to be supporting this new and exciting format of enduro racing. Night riding is one of our favourite types of riding, get some lights and get out there!"

-Bruce from Mud Hugger-
