On Friday, riders started arriving and getting to grips with the track. Local rider Simon Waldburger had made some changes to the track over the winter months and it definitely made the track more technical. The new pro line was tough, but the riders were getting it mastered by Friday night. Being Swiss National Day, the whole community came down to the track in the evening for a ceremony, hosted by the town's mayor. Bands, choirs, great food and fireworks signified Swiss Day and got the weekend started perfectly.
An awesome final race and a great showcase for 4X ProTour and the track in Leibstadt (Find the place on the map of Adrex.com Locations...) saw great racing from men as well as women. Here are the results:
