Our first tip for a great adventure begins with an early morning flight from Pokhara into the heart of the Himalayas, landing at a remote airstrip in the village of Jomsom. Jomsom is located at an altitude of 2800m in Mustang District, Nepal. Although only half an hour in flying time from Pokhara, you are transported into a different world. Getting off the plane, the lunar landscape in Jomsom is in stark contrast to the verdant Pokhara valley. Expect truly excellent trails with almost no traffic.
