Enduro has taken the mountain bike world by storm. After steady growth around Europe for over 10 years, it’s now the biggest thing in MTB around the globe. This is where mountain biking’s at for the majority of riders. Pedal up the trails with your friends and then rip the dirt out of all kinds of sweet descents, whatever your local style of dirt, rock and root. The Enduro World Series has brought it all into focus, attracting a huge number of the world’s biggest names and biggest bike brands. In 2014 the series will visit Chile, France, Canada, USA, Italy… and Scotland. This is the first time the world’s hottest mountain bike race has visited the UK – you don’t want to miss it.

TweedLove World Enduro Race

With two days of trail racing on stages around the Scottish Borders’ Tweed Valley, this event aims to be tough, but a lot of fun, with the emphasis on great riding and quality trails. There is no uplift here, and riders will need to deal with a significant amount of distance and vertical on a tour of the UK’s premier enduro trail destination. Riding will vary from fast and flowy to tight, steep and technical, but it’s all about quality trails. The two day race course will visit both Glentress and Innerleithen, and take in some of the finest hidden and natural trails in the area. Find the place on the map of Adrex.com Locations...

About the Festival

Spot the big name riders, soak up the vibe. Like the best big events around Europe, the Enduro Race will feature a busy and exciting event HQ, right in the middle of town. Check out the exhibitors, see the big names back at their pit areas, get something to eat or just hang out down by the River Tweed, at the buzzing centre of one the planet’s biggest bike events. There is plenty to see and do - the Scottish Open Enduro is coming to pass for probably the largest purse in UK's bike racing history, popular Dual Slalom, and a lot of fantastic trail as well as road riding is awaiting all participants. Spectators can enjoy a good vibe, music venues, film screening, afterparties and more.

See you there!

Sounds like a perfect MTB event to round off the last long weekend in May, doesn't it? More information about the festival can be found at tweedlove.com.
