The City Downhill World Tour Heads to Spain for the First Time

The famous City Downhill World Tour is hosting a new stage in Bilbao, Spain on October 9-12, 2015. Downhill in the maximum possible speed, big obstacles, jumps, stairs, crowds; it all started in Lisbon in 1999. The City Downhill World Tour continues in this legacy and although the world has only seen a second edition of the series, the rush and adrenaline haven't changed much from that 6 years ago. After Valparaiso, Santos, and Bratislava, it's time for "el boxto" to shine for the first time before final round in Mexico. And Spain will broadcast live......

Cash prizes for the fastest will be of the highest in the CDWT history reaching € 5,000 for the champion but the top riders will battle also for the glory as this is the first time Filip Polc, Tomas Slavik, Joahannes Fischbach, Bernardo Cruz, Matt Walker, Ivan Kunaev, and rest of the starting field consisting of 80 riders, battle on Spanish ground. Local crowd will look with favor upon their heroes, attending is the Downhill National Champion Toni Ferreiro, Alicante's Javier Guijarro or locals Iraitz Etxebarria and Dani Olarra.
