About 150 exhibitors and some 300 brands offer test events and trial courses while also presenting the latest developments to an interested audience. The focus is on the dialogue between business and customer!
In addition, the BIKE Festival is also known for its outstanding events. The highlight of the weekend will take place on Saturday when pros as well as amateurs compete in the Rocky Mountain BIKE Marathon. More than 2,500 racers from more than 30 countries are expected to lock horns on four different courses.
While Ronda Facile (28.63 km, 702 m) and Ronda Piccola (44.79 km, 1,523 m) seem to be easy to master, Ronda Grande (73.94 km, 2,863 m) and especially Ronda Extrema (90.43 km, 3,838 m) are way more demanding. Furthermore, the marathon in Riva is also the opener of the Marathon Man Europe Series (www.marathonman-europe.com).
In addition to the enormous marathon program the first ever race for e-bikes will be staged, too. Participants of the e-MTB Marathon e-powered by Bosch presented by Flyer will compete on Ronda Facile.
On Friday night, the action-packed BRÜGELMANN City Eliminator kicks off things again. After its successful debut last year, mountain bikers will tackle a 600 meters long course spiced up with different features and obstacles in heats of four to determine who is the best sprinter in the field. With only the top two of each eat advancing to the next round, exciting and thrilling head to head duels are guaranteed.
For the third consecutive time, the Specialized-SRAM Enduro Series hosts its second tour stop at Lake Garda (www.enduroseries.net) on Sunday. Get ready for an extra portion of adrenalin when participants give their best shot in various special stages.
The day before, the popular CANYON Pumptrack powered by mtb-academy is back. Besides some decent training and video analyses to teach the right technique on the course, mountain bikers can go for first, second and third rank in a contest session, too.
The SCOTT Junior Trophy, a special race for the youngest as well as numerous guided tours hosted by well-known exhibitors or by the Fahrtwind specialists as well as several parties and the breathtaking Danny MacAskill Drop and Roll Tour presented by Livigno round out the event weekend at Lake Garda. In addition, festival partner MINI provides five different models for some test drives in the beautiful region of Riva del Garda.
