Nauyaca Falls Cliff Diving - Waterfall Cliff Jumping in Costa Rica

The goal is to get you out into the forests of Costa Rica to enjoy a truly magical experience. Sit in a natural pool, surrounded by trees and wildlife and listen to the fantastic sounds of the rainforest and the rushing water. But, suddenly, you are given the opportunity to interact with the Nauyaca waterfall. To jump from its numerous cliffs. Somewhat rough idea for the man who had barely an hour ago slept in a hammock between palm trees on the beach. Go ahead?

Costa Rica has always been a true paradise for waterfall hunters. Most of Costa Rican falls are easily reachable from the main tourist centers of the western coast. The same applies to Nauyaca Waterfalls located only 15 minutes from Playa Dominical, 45 minutes from Playa Hermosa and Herradura (Jacó) and 1,5 hour from Puntarenas. Pleasantly warm Baru River waters flowing through the Nauyaca are cascading from 45 meter (higher) and lower from 25 meter into an 8 meter deep pool ideal for swimming and jumping. The rocks offer several different jumping platforms from 2 to 15 meters.

Driving along Costanera Sur R34 both from north and south, you take road nr. 243 up the hills. Then, the hike up to the spot through the forest is necessary.

For guided tour, Adrex.com recommends using the services of the Costa Rica Waterfall Tours company, which will provide you with fine transportation as well as the experienced guides.
