Immersion Freediving - Do you Want to Become a Better Freediver ?

Freediving is about mind-set, correct weighting and most importantly, proper technique. Some people who have been free diving their whole lives are unaware of many useful freediving techniques that can make freediving more enjoyable. If you are an average freediver looking to improve your skills before you immerse yourself into the blue once again, you should consider taking some professional classes. Immersion Freediving is one of those professionals with a background in competitive freediving to teach you the same techniques the world class freedivers use. Check it out.

You might have heard of Ted Harty before. A World Class Freediver and instructor, US National record holder, and the Team Captain of the 2012 United States Freediving Team got hooked up by the beauty of diving in 2005 and never looked back since then. With enough scuba dive and plenty of freediving experience, Ted now spends the majority of his time teaching in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida through his company, Immersion Freediving.

Hard on the training ground, easy on the battle ground

"I started Immersion Freediving with one goal in mind: to get people involved in freediving and teach them the techniques needed to make them better and safer freedivers", Ted Harty

Ted's deepest dive is 279ft performed during Deja Blue 3 freediving comp so he knows how to hold a breath for sure. You will be learning from a very experienced and knowledgeable freediver. Till 2009, he has taught more than 700 people to freedive. His key to success is a targeted approach that works towards a student’s specific needs and goals. To ensure that, his classes consist of max. 5 students at a time only.

"People often struggle to hold their breaths for more than a minute but with a proper technique you can go four to six"
